Great Light Gallery

Something different for this post.  I am a fan of all creative pursuits and was invited to check out an exhibition at the Great Light Gallery.  The works on display are by Immerdar Fredriksson and features a collection of stunning photographs from the Grand Canyon set out over three floors.

Fashion Limited

So today's find on the fashion front was in a notecard from Chrysalis and it lead me to the Fashion Limited Store.  The ethos of the store is to gather together a group of designers and offer a product from their range in a limited number - poses, clothes, accessories, etc.

The store currently features designers including Gizza, Chrysalis, Posies, Je Suis..., Les Petits Details, Angel Dessous, Purple Moon, White Widow, Glamour Style, White Widow.

I purchased a gown from Chrysalis 'Only You' in blue for L$425.

I also picked up White Widow - Face Tattoo 'Wind' which for L$125 comes in five shades.

Sale at AvaGirl

Another notecard that found it's way to me was for a sale at AvaGirl - 50% and 75% off selected items in the mainstore.  That sounded like an opportunity too good to miss (even in SL the effects of the recession can be felt and a sale is always welcome).

I popped along to check out the bargains.  The store itself is large and airy with an interesting design and a muted colour palette accentuated with pinks and purples.  The furnishings within the store compliment the design and layout and the flowers and plants give it a fresh feel.

The sale itself covers a range of items from dresses to separates to footwear.

Sixty Nine Sundays

Amongst the numerous messages and notecards that were waiting for me on logging in this morning was one for a venture called "Sixty Nine Sunday".  I decided to check it out despite reservations as to what I was TPing in to.  Thankfully it turned out to be fashion and not some dubious sex event (you can never be too careful when 'Sixty Nine' is used in the title).

On landing, I was greeted by a nicely laid out room divided in to two with an array of fashions from designers I was not familiar with, including Urban Empire, !ScHiZo!, [U.R.] Fashion Designs, L a u, Eskimo Fashion, Peerless, Caution and Faddism.

It proved an ideal distraction for a lazy Sunday and I spent quite some time mooching around the wares on display.

Bargain of the Day: 17th May 2012

My bargain of the day is the Lydia dress and jacket in indigo from Adoness.  On the Marketplace for only L$1.  Also comes in forest green for the same great price.

Went on the hunt for bargains and found a Lucky Board with a cute little mini dress and my initial at TPC & Zinas.

A Sparkling Find

At Sparklers! I came across this lovely little freebie Shamrock necklace in gold and emerald for St Patrick's Day.

Morning Mooch

Wandering around London City early this morning, I picked up a couple of bargains.

First at Rude Girl, I picked up the freebie pack by the door which contains this top and jeans.  The jeans are in sapphire and the top is turquoise camo with the logo of the nearby club - Lezbo.

My initial was on one of the Lucky Chairs and I received another top as my prize.  A fashionably ripped top in hot violet to put some sizzle in my day.

Round the corner at Kim / bodysuits, I picked up a dress for the bargain price of L$149.  Short, split and sassy with sparkling cuffs.

It's Monday and that means bargains!

I popped along to SF Design, where I picked up this week's Monday Mania item...which is an incredible  five t-shirts (purple, black, blue, brown and red) for 25Ls..

I then headed on over to Snowpaws where I got two outfits - one Moody Mondays and one Monday Mania.

The Moody Mondays dress is the Kilau Solid Silver Sparkle Gown for 55Ls.  It comes with two skirts in different lengths, a hair flower decoration and earrings.

 The second outfit is Tulip - skirt and open button blouse  - Blue Moon for 50Ls.  It features a blouse and a skirt with lavendar decoration.

Over at Rag Dollz, I slapped both of the Midnight Mania/Madness boards.  They both locked and I received two stunning outfits.  Winter Splendor in Silver is a gown with skirt, bustle, choker and mask included.

The second outfit, which is on the Group board, is *Rag Dollz* Clarena Blue.  This comes with bustle, choker and an animated hand fan that has a lovely delicate effect.
